Physical Appearance
Twenty Four — also called Tech by his brothers — is a short, thin, non-muscular male of the Zenn race. He is over 3.4 eons old (an eon here meaning a billion years). He has brown-and-orange eyes and white hair. Two tattoos mark his chest: the number 24 over his heart, and a helium atom on the other side.
He looks nothing like the heavily armed fighters he outfits. That is the point. The planet-sized brain and the quiet body belong to the same person.
Personality
Very calm and straight to the point. Logical to the extreme. Eons of research have given him an unbelievable IQ, and he treats most problems like equations waiting to be solved.
That logic does not erase fear. He still dreads things he knows are “impossible” — including traveling with his brother Ten Thousand, for fear of ending up in two places at once. In the field he can sound almost playful: a smirk, a kitchen knife instead of a proper weapon, a remote upgrade mid-mission because he wants to test a new system. Under the jokes he is still the brother who hears everything, catalogs everything, and decides who gets which job.
He can be ruthless in small ways. He will withhold a detail until the last second. He will send someone he thinks is “weak” on a soft-looking mission because that person’s history makes them the right tool. He laughs when a test works. He also carries old choices — like calling 88 away from a planet that later fell — that other brothers never forget.
Daily Life
Twenty Four lives on Techatron 24, a planet-sized supercomputer linked directly to his brain. There he builds new inventions for the Brothers Will. When he is not inventing, he helps his adopted brother Ten Thousand run the alliance.
A brain physically larger than a planet lets him do many things at once: catalog artifacts, animals, races, planets, and star systems so every member has the information a mission might need. He keeps a constant mental link to the Brothers Will and can speak into a brother’s ear from half a universe away. That link — and much of his edge — rides on his race’s natural telepathy, not only on nanites.
Fighting Technique
Powers / Gear
One of the most technically inclined beings in the universe, he rarely fights like a soldier. His first approach is to read an enemy’s mind and turn their own attacks back on them. For opponents too fast to dodge or counter, he traps them in a temporary mental prison — bodies frozen while their minds claw for a way out — then knocks them out.
Off the battlefield he is the arsenal. He designs and maintains Brothers Will technology: nanite updates, remote system uploads, labs, weapons packages, and the safety nets that keep cursed humans standing. In Loaded he runs 88’s upgrade from afar, watches the mission through the link, and treats the whole fight like a live systems test.
Limits / Drawbacks
Extreme logic can miss what fear and grief do to people. His experiments on brothers — taking weapons offline, delaying the truth about a “delivery,” forcing a field upgrade — get results and also get him shot at. Traveling with Ten Thousand still unsettles him. Being the last Zenn means there is no one left who fully shares what he is.
In Loaded
Twenty Four sends 88 out with nanites down for an update, hands him a kitchen knife, and only mentions the princess as 88 falls through Ten Thousand’s rift. He stays in 88’s ear the whole mission — guidance, sarcasm, and live telemetry — while testing a new remote update system on a brother who would rather have guns.
After the city is held, he and Ten Thousand meet 88 for debrief and another round of needling. Part of why 88 got the job: Twenty Four knew 88 had been a father. That knowledge cuts both ways. When the laughing stops, 88 still remembers who called him away two thousand years ago — and still leaves a cloak-shot reminder that Tech’s “weak” brother is not a lab rat forever.
Summary
One of the founders of the Brothers Will, Tech is the brains behind the alliance. He builds and maintains their technology and keeps a constant mental link to every member, a safety net that can send help before anyone thinks to ask — driven by Zenn telepathy as much as by nanites.
He is the last of the ancient Zenn, one of the few non–Cursed Humans in the Brothers Will, and the quiet reason a low-rank gunner with orange pants somehow always has the worst “simple” missions. Brain the size of a planet. Smile of a man running a test. Heart tattooed with 24.
